Formerly known as Hog Island, this island in the Bahamas was bought by Huntington Hartford, the A&P Supermarket heir and renamed to Paradise Island. Paradise Island is located just off shore of Nassau, the capital city of the Bahamas. The island is connected to the island of New Providence (where Nassau is located) via 2 bridges across the Nassau Harbour.

Since its opening in 1962, Paradise Island has become the famous tourist attraction not only in the Bahamas, but also across the Atlantic Ocean. Paradise Island boasts stunning beaches where you can dip yourself in the turquoise blue waters. If you are a golf lover, the island has great golf courses overlooking the ocean. Perhaps you may want to try your luck in the casinos of Vegas-style Atlantis Paradise Island Resort.

Torre del Mar or literal “Tower of the Sea” is a coastal town located approximately 28 kilometers to the east of Malaga, Spain. This town is often chosen as an ideal place for Europeans to retire. Sits on the Route of Sun and Avocado as well as facing Mediterranean Sea, the town offers quite spectacular views.

Torre del Mar boasts wide sandy beaches flanked by a long beachfront promenade with pretty views along the coast. The town also has a famous 500-meter stretch, called El Copo, which is full of bars and discotheques which are open until early morning. Paris is France’s capital as well as the largest city. Being the world’s leading cultural, entertainment, media and fashion centers, Paris is also one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. The city is located on the Seine River, in the northern part of France.

What makes Paris such a popular destination among the tourists? The answer lies on Paris’ numerous iconic landmarks with excellent piece of architecture. One of such landmarks is the Eiffel Tower built in 1889. This 324-meter high structure is the tallest building in Paris and has become one of the most recognizable structures in the world. Besides Eiffel Tower, there are Place de la Bastille, Champs-Elysees, Les Halles, Le Marais, Notre Dame de Paris, Arc de Triomphe and the two Statues of Liberty, just to name a few. There are also a lot of museums in Paris, with the Louvre one of the largest and most famous. The museum is famous for housing Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa.

Hokkaido is located at the north end of Japan, near Russia. It is the second largest island in Japan and is connected to the nearby Honshu Island by underwater Seikan Tunnel. Sapporo is the capital city as well as the largest city of Hokkaido. The city had hosted the 1972 Winter Olympics.

Hokkaido is well known for its cooler summer and icy winter. Tourists are attracted to Hokkaido during the summertime than the other hotter and more humid parts of Japan. In winter, high quality of powder snow and numerous mountains in Hokkaido make it one of the most popular spots for winter sports in Japan. People come here for skiing and other winter sports. Not to miss out is the Sapporo Snow Festival. Sapporo Snow Festival is one of Japan’s largest winter events and is held annually in Sapporo every February. Phi Phi Islands

Located 48 kilometers southeast of Phuket, Phi Phi Islands is a small archipelago in Krabi Province, Thailand. It is considered to be one of the most naturally beautiful islands in the world. The name of the island is originated from the Malay word ‘pi’ which refers to a kind of mangrove wood found on the island. Phi Phi Islands in Thai language is ‘Koh Phi Phi’ (pronounced as ‘koh pee pee’), with ‘koh means ‘island’.

The archipelago is made up of 6 small and large islands, namely Koh Phi Phi Don, Koh Phi Phi Leh, Koh Phai, Koh Yung, Koh Bida Nok and Koh Bida Nai. Koh Phi Phi Don is the largest among all and is also the only populated island of six. Koh Phi Phi Leh is the second largest island and houses Maya Beach, filming location of Leonardo DiCaprio ‘The Beach’. Koh Phai, Koh Yung, Koh Bida Nok and Koh Bida Nai are relatively smaller in size and have their own unique beauty.
